It was a very positive experience overall, especially since I have been working in Drupal for a whopping 10 years and I had never attended any of these events.

I submitted two papers that I understand as two parts of the same introduction to front-end in Drupal 8. The second paper focused specifically on the state of the art of component-based design in Drupal and proposed some ideas about how it could be handled using pretty much just the Drupal 8 (and later) Core.

Many of these ideas come from my previous work at Metadrop and others I'm refining and applying at Cáñamo Magazine, so it's more than possible that I'll write or publish a revised and expanded version of this talk in the future. In the meantime, it is openly available for viewing here:
